Vimarsh Aryan, India’s First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), delivered India’s Right of Reply to rebut the allegations of Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. He made India proud at the UNHRC by saying that Jammu, Kashmir & Laddakh will Progress & Prosper along with the rest of India.
The Indian team at the UNHRC was led by Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs Vijay Thakur Singh. The team gave a strong rebuttal to Pakistan’s allegations of human rights violations in Kashmir at the UN Human Rights Council. Mr Aryan drew global attention on Pakistan’s fake news propaganda by strongly hitting back at Pakistan for not publishing any official statistics about its minorities.
Some of the bold Statement delivered by Mr Vimarsh Aryan during the General Debate at the 42nd UNHRC Session on Pakistan’s fake propaganda, their support for terrorism and not publishing official statistics about its minorities are as follows:
‘Pak leaders have gone ahead to call for Jihad & encourage violence in J&K. Pak cannot fool the world. J&K has been, is and will remain an integral part of India’.
‘Pakistan has today pretended to speak as the voice of the global community on human rights. But the world cannot be fooled.‘
‘Pakistan’s gory record speaks for itself. This rhetoric will not distract international attention from Pakistan’s persecution and elimination of religious and ethnic minorities – be it the Christians, Sikhs, Shias, Ahmadiyas and Hindus. This is the reason that Pakistan no longer publishes official statistics about its minorities as India does.‘
While Pakistan was busy in delivering their false narrative on Kashmir at the 42nd session of UNHRC, posters & banners highlighting the country for violating human rights in Balochistan were placed outside the meeting venue in Geneva.
