Nobody could do what Kangana did!
Her latest release Manikarnika is a 2 hours 28-minute saga that spans from 1828 to 1858 and gives you a fair picture about the life of Jhansi ki Rani Laxmi Bai. The movie shows exactly what Jhansi Ki Rani has been known for and that too with the same degree of emotions that we accumulated from the stories and poems we read in our childhood.
Kudos to Kangana Ranaut and the team of Manikarnika as the movie does not seem to be tampering with the history for commercial benefits and proves that a fact-based movie can also make money on box office. Its a much-deserved victory for Kangna and her team. Her performance as a 14-year-old Chabili to a 29-year-old freedom fighter is breathtakingly convincing. She plays her role with all the sincerity. Once again she has proved that she is the only Queen in Bollywood.
Here is a short poem for our Queen of Bollywood:
Bhambhala se nikli
Sapnon ko sach karne ki thani thi
Naari shakti ki mahatta har kisi ko samjhani thi
Akele hi sangharsh kar har chunauti ko dhul chatani thi
Suvidhaon se bolne waalon ki bolti jo band karani thi
Ye sab karne waali koi aur nahi…..
Bollywood ke bahar se aayi Bollywood ki Rani thi
